What a lanyard is

A lanyard is your public page. It lives at lanyard.link/yourname and it holds the things you would otherwise send as five separate links: how to contact you, what you do, your photos, your links, your booking form.

You build it in the editor and it stays private until you publish it.

Adding sections

Everything on your lanyard is a section: a links block, a gallery, an about, a contact form, and so on.

  1. Open your lanyard in the editor.
  2. Open the Sections panel.
  3. Choose Add Section and pick what you want.
  4. Fill it in. The preview updates as you type, and the editor saves as you go, so there is no save button to hunt for.

Reordering and hiding sections

The order of the rows in the Sections list is the order on your published lanyard. Drag a row by its handle to move it.

Every section also has its own visibility switch. Turning a section off takes it off the page without deleting anything you typed, so you can put it back later exactly as it was.

Changed your mind straight away? Press Cmd Z (Ctrl Z on Windows) to undo the last reorder, show or hide, or theme change, and Cmd Shift Z to redo it.

Publishing

Editing changes your draft only. Your public lanyard does not change until you publish, so you can rework a section in the middle of the day without anyone seeing a half finished page.

Publish from the Publish panel in the editor. If something on your lanyard needs a look from our team first, it is marked as under review and you get an email. It goes live once that review clears.

Sharing

Your published lanyard is at lanyard.link/yourname. The Share block in the editor copies that link, or hands it to your phone's share sheet, so you can paste it into a bio, a signature or a message.

Pasted somewhere that shows link previews, it unfurls as a card with your name and photo. If you have put a password on your lanyard, that preview deliberately shows nothing about you, only that the lanyard is private.

Getting help from a person

Sign in, open Messages, and start an enquiry. Pick the category that fits so it reaches the right place, and the reply arrives both there and by email.

If you cannot sign in, reply to any email we have sent you and it reaches the same inbox.
